Jon Stewart pops by The Late Show With Stephen Colbert to do the "Snoopy Dance" (off-camera) over Fox Chief Roger Ailes' resignation and to share a few of his thoughts in the wake of the Republican National Convention.
Bravo, Jon Stewart, BRAVO!!
Enjoy! (Feel free to watch it repeatedly. You'll feel better every time!)

Global Warming vs The U.S. House Of Representatives
The U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Space, Science and Technology is filled to capacity with dazzling examples of what can be found mouldering in the shallowest end of the human gene pool.

What Not To Buy Or W(hat)W(ould)J(esus)S(oil)?
President Obama signed the Farm Bill into law.
Thanks, Mr. President. You shouldn't have. No, I really mean that: You Shouldn't Have.
Why?? Because, that p.o.s. legislation is going to cut $8.6 Billion from America's Food Stamp Program over the next 10 years.
"What's the problem with that?", you might ask.
Well, in case you've been asleep from eating so much food of your choice... More and more people are relying on Food Stamps so that they can afford to buy - What? - FOOD.
Contrary to what the (shite-for-)brain-donors over at Fox TV have been soiling their diapers about...
1.) You cannot buy iPods with Food Stamps. 2.) You cannot buy fitness classes with Food Stamps. 3.) You cannot buy prepared foods, like giant turkey legs at Disneyland. and 4.) Seafood/Fish actually is Healthy FOOD that poor Americans have a right to have access to and need just as much as rich ones!
What can you buy with Food Stamps, Fox TV??
Repeat after me: F. O. O. D.!
Sigh... So many morons... So little common sense and compassion.
Here's a brief, bitter, yet funny clip from The Daily Show With Jon Stewart:
What Not To Buy: The Fox News network points out the fishier side of welfare benefits.

Newt Gingrich Defends The Catholic Church... And Is Swallowed By A Snake - The Daily Show
In the 2008 Presidential Race, Republicans prophesied many, er, creative "Be Afraid... Be Very Afraid." potential outcomes in their "If-Obama-becomes-President"-dystopian tirades.
None, of course, came to fruition.
Now, in 2012, how will those same Republican wrong-nosticators top themselves?
Here's one GOP candidate's recent declaration:
"He will wage war on the Catholic Church the morning after he's re-elected." - so said Newt Gingrich.
Newt Gingrich is worried about the Catholic Church? Newt Gingrich?
The very same, self-serving, Pillsbury P.O.S. who not only cheated on his first but, later, his second wife after each had became seriously ill and who, shortly thereafter, divorced Wife Number One and later divorced Wife Number Two and is now on Wife Number Three wants American Catholics to believe that he's concerned for and looking out for Catholicism and for the Catholic Church?
Uh, yeah... Riiiiiiiiiight.
D'ya like to hear more improbable prognostications from GOP leadership?

Daily Show: Friends Without Benefits. GOP Sen. Stearns Says FU To 1st Responders...
Off all the Bone-Headed, Idiotic & Infinitely-Offensive Congressional Amendments shoved into a bill before they'd begrudgingly approve it...
As if Congress's taking 9 yrs. just to pass a Healthcare Bill that would assist our 9/11 First Responders in paying for their medical expenses - paying for treatment of the cancers and the respiratory diseases they've developed after sifting through the World Trade Center Tower rubble (for weeks on end) - tirelessly searching through the still-smouldering devastation, dust and blood for remains so that those still missing could, finally, be identified and their families could, eventually, have some sort of closure... As if that wasn't enough ...
Nope, apparently not...
In an "Insult To Injury" Amendment added by Senator Cliff Stearns (R.FL)...
America's 9/11 First Responders (the ones who haven't already Died from injuries sustained doing those heroic duties) who submit a claim so that they can pay for their medical treatment, must first undergo a background check/be checked against the Terrorist Watch List before receiving money for their chemotherapy.
Ugh!... sometimes I Really Dislike human beings.
(From last night's The Daily Show.)
* I'd encourage you to watch the segment - in its entirety - as broadcast in the whole episode (It's the first segment in the episode). For some reason, Comedy Central chopped it into two pieces and "the whole is more than the sum of its parts" - as some wise person once said.
First clip (3:36)
Second clip (5:20)

Is Fox News a Terrorist Command Center? Let's Follow The Connections...
Something for us all to ponder...
"Is Fox News a Terrorist Command Center?"
Honestly, I really don't know... not for sure.
And, neither does Jon Stewart, for that matter.
But, if you look closely at what plays on the screen...
Well, anyone can see it there.
Plain as day...
Notice what Jon is holding in his hands: a large, white note-card.
The very card which displays the names of certain shadowy and powerful men on it... written in black.
At the top is Rupert Murdoch's name, followed by a certain Saudi Sheik - one who owns the most NewsCorp stock outside the Murdoch family - and then, at the bottom, there's Former Mayor Giuliani's name.
If we were to go beyond the names?
Well, there's a maze of curious, deep and long connections which could be drawn between all of them... if one were inclined to do so.
And, saving the best for last...
There's that accursed yet ever present yellow highlighter...
(Cue ominous background music)
Enjoy!

Follow The Money say O'Reilly/Beck/Huckabee/Fox... So, Follow This: NewsCorp-$1Mill=GOP+$1Mill
What Can You Do If...
You Want To Uncover And Expose Which Crooked Corporations Are Making Large Campaign Contributions In Order To Buy Political Influence in America...
You Need Only Do One Thing:
"Follow The Money Trail!"
~ The Passionate Exhortation Of Bill O'Reilly, Glenn Beck & Mike Huckabee over at Fox "News".
Glenn Beck uses chalk, chalkboards, melodrama and meandering mazes to illustrate the twisted tie-ins he perceives pervade American politics (and, occasionally, he throws in the nazis and/or hitler - I refuse to capitalize those two words.).
Here's a very recent example of exactly how the recent and asinine U.S. Supreme Court decision to allow unlimited corporate contributions to political campaigns may have opened the floodgates to f.s.u. (fk stuff up) in American politics:
NewsCorp (The Parent Company of Fox "News") just gave $1Million to the GOP.
For those who may be accustomed to Glenn Beck's method of doing things, I'm repeating Jon Stewart's example - sans chalkboard - here goes:
Now, Remember What Bill, Glenn and Mike Said, "Follow The Money.".
NewsCorp/Fox-----$1Million Dollars-----GOP/Republicans
Easy, huh?
Check Out Jon Stewart's Delightful Take on this event...
Enjoy!

Daily Show With Jon Stewart: CNN & Fox News Coverage Of Prop. 8 Decision
For Your T.G.I.F. Enjoyment:
I present this brief, but laugh-out-loud funny, clip from The Daily Show With Jon Stewart.
In this clip, Jon takes aim at both the "man-on-the-street" and in-studio interview-style coverage of responses to this week's precedent-setting decision by a Republican-appointed Federal judge to overturn California's Prop. 8 - which banned same-sex marriage - as being unconstitutional, as presented by several major news networks.
Enjoy!
