Trump Panics As Military Wants Him Sidelined In War

FACT: Every single time, Donald Trump threatens to destroy Iran’s - or any other nation’s - civilian infrastructure (bridges, hospitals, desalination plants, etc.) and/or threatens to “annihilate” the people/country of Iran, he is committing a war crime. 

Genocide and Incitement:

Threatening to "wipe out" or annihilate a civilization may be categorized as a threat of genocide. Under the Genocide Convention and the Rome Statute, "direct and public incitement to commit genocide" is a crime, regardless of whether the act of genocide is actually carried out.

International Humanitarian Law (IHL):

Threats to destroy a "whole civilization" or its essential civilian infrastructure violate the Geneva Conventions. These rules require states to distinguish between combatants and civilians; threatening an entire population is considered an indiscriminate attack, which is a war crime.

Prohibitions on Spreading Terror::

Under Additional Protocol I of the Geneva Conventions, "acts or threats of violence the primary purpose of which is to spread terror among the civilian population are prohibited".

In times like these, it’s just too bad that being a person who carries out - or, who threatens, repeatedly, to carry out war crimes and has the means to do so - doesn’t face the potential consequence of being hung by the neck until dead, or execution by firing squad.*
