BP's claims to have successfully capped its leaking oil well in the Gulf of Mexico have been questioned after a potential leak was discovered on the seabed nearby

BP oil spill: US orders new emergency plan as seepage detected near capped well.

The US government ordered BP to submit an emergency plan for reopening its capped Gulf of Mexico oil well after experts detected seepage from the surrounding seabed.

"Admiral Allen... warned earlier that "ultimately, we must insure no irreversible damage is done which could cause uncontrolled leakage from numerous points on the sea floor"."

Dear Admiral Allen:

PLEASE Don't trust BP to be completely honest and transparent - as they've certainly proven themselves to be completely incapable of such things.

And, yes, a successfully-capped well-head would be Great. Terrific. Awesome.

But, an Exploding Sea Floor leading to a multi-point oil and gas leak would be Bad...

Very, Very Bad.
