"Look! Up in the sky! It's a bird! It's a plane! It's..." a Rod!?
(Not to be confused with "A-Rod".)
Back in 2002, a Fox-TV affiliate cameraman was filming airplanes at the Albany Int'l. Airport when he accidentally captured something curious flying among the clouds...
The object appears to be what has recently been referred to as a "rod". Since the development and popularity of digital video, more and more lay people have been recording these objects. They have been recorded flying around base jumpers and look like flutes with superior and anterior "wings" or "fins". More and more people are supporting the idea that these are actually living, biological entities that have been living, unnoticed, in our upper atmosphere.
Apparently, the FBI took it seriously enough to take the man in for questioning and they interrogated him for 2 hours and gave him a polygraph test (they thought he faked the footage, even though he wasn't the one who brought it to their attention). The footage has been expertly analyzed and declared genuine and the object seen flying behind a cloud in the video was really there.
It isn't an atmospheric disturbance. It isn't the planet Venus. It isn't a missile or other misidentified aircraft. So, what is it?
I'm going with "fellow Earthling".
